PROFESSIONAL SERIES SIMULATORS

Our professional cockpit offerings are built using the latest CNC technology and 3D printing and we incorporate state of the art materials combined with metal forming, fabrication and welding. While they start with the same core shell designs as some of our DIY offerings, we use the highest quality materials possible.  We then combine the shell with the latest computer equipment and modern simulation software from Microsoft or Lockheed’s Prepar3D. This combines with custom built networked computer(s), displays, touchscreens, flight control hardware, and associated software that brings the total flight experience to life.  In all respects our approach is one of flexibility to help serve the customer. For example, for flight controls we can offer custom built options, aviation surplus retrofit components, or can incorporate any “off the shelf” 3rd party hardware. This allows the customer greater “plug and play” flexibility with modular options that can save time and money in the long run when or if equipment needs to be serviced or replaced.

As seen in images across the sight, we have long employed professional hardware coupled with Virtual Instrument Panel sets (VIPs) for what we call “fleet flexible” training. This method which uses modern tactile touchscreens in place of a single static panel full of costly and complex mechanical analog gauges, allows one simulator the ability to replicate several fleet aircraft instead of only a single aircraft. These 1:1 scale virtual instrumentation panels (VIPs) are designed to closely replicate a variety of common aircraft used in light, medium, and large scale commercial aviation.  The gauge accuracy and fidelity, while not truly 100% in all cases, especially for very complex multi-engine aircraft, still allows for very realistic and professional quality training, specifically for procedural training with two pilots who are flying approaches in all weather conditions, and in general, are practicing dual pilot emergencies in preparation for yearly insurance requirement check-rides at professional simulation facilities. Regardless of existing fidelity in the marketplace, we are constantly working on in house software upgrades, as well work with other professional software vendors to help make VIPs as accurate as possible to fully match up to their real world counterparts to provide as much realism as is allowed within today’s flight simulator software environments. In some instances there are existing software packages for aircraft like the 737, Q400, and a few others which do provide 100% fidelity and contain very extensive systems modeling.

As desired, we additionally offer a three week on-site set-up and introduction package as well options for an extended maintenance package. We also facilitate FAA certification in the USA if desired, or the cockpit can simply be used as a Visual Procedures Trainer (VPT) which again, is simply used to aid commercial pilots on a consistent basis to prepare for yearly insurance checkouts in larger, more formal simulators at Flight Safety or other commercial simulation facilities. Therefore our systems, even if not FAA certified to log hours for non-commercial student pilots, still serve to build confidence and saves you money in the long term by keeping your pilots well-oiled for training scenarios and all emergency procedures.

Turn-key ProLine packages start at $60,000 for a general aviation style 2-seat cockpit with 2 networked computers, dual linked flight controls, and up to 5 displays (2 touchscreen / 3 for visuals) and range up to $85,000 for a fully equipped Airliner X as shown in images with dual flight controls for two pilots, a support platform, a separate Instructor Operating Station (IOS) and 4 networked computers. These also includes 10 VIP virtual panel sets which range from smaller general aviation aircraft to larger, more complex commercial aircraft.

ProLine Simulator Designs

Airliner X / XS-1
We offer both the Airliner X and XS-1 platforms as comprehensive fully equipped professional level Visual Procedural Trainers. As needed we can incorporate up to 15 common aircraft in the general, regional and airline environment to provide one simulator that can cover a wide base of training needs. We also offer custom built flight controls to include dual yokes and rudders and can mix and match components with any “off the shelf” equipment from other well-known manufacturers. We pride ourself in design flexibility to achieve desired results.

CS-2 Pegasus
The CS-2 is more curvaceous and more professional version of the dual seat CS-1. All parts are cut via CNC and while previous versions were mainly built of wood and wood composites and phenolics, much of the framework is now welded steel tubing. Overall, the CS-2 is robustly built to be able to use it on a motion platform if ever desired. As with the other sims in the ProLine series, we can offer a wide variety of options to tailor the simulator and its hardware and instrumentation for your needs.

BK-X SkyNight
The BK-X is a mid-sized dual seat cockpit design based on the size of a KingAir 350. It is approximately 2ft wider and 2ft longer than the CS-2. It too has all parts cut on CNC and most of the internal framework is welded steel tubing to be able to use it on a motion platform if ever desired. Once again, we offer a wide variety of options to tailor the simulator and its hardware and instrumentation for your needs. This can include analog gauges or our VIP virtual panel display sets that can provide virtual representations of both analog gauges as well glass gauges for “fleet flexible” training.
