Digital Products Sales Policy
For most items SimSamurai now offers full digital products. Each file set or plan set purchase allows you a “single use” as our customer. This means that with any single purchase you are agreeing to our Non-Commercial Single Use User License Agreement (NCSUULA). This means that for both kit cockpit plan sets and instrument panel design files you are only allowed to build a single (1) unit for yourself and with your purchase you are hereby in legal agreement with this policy. We ask that you please respect our designs, copyrights and intellectual property. To be clear … DO NOT SHARE THESE FILES. DO NOT UPLOAD THESE FILES. PLEASE ..RESPECT OUR RIGHTS.
If you wish to build more than one unit simply repurchase an additional license and if needed contact us for commercial license options if you wish to use your cockpit in a commercial setting such as a school or flight academy, entertainment center, exposition, etc. We offer extremely affordable commercial licensing options, typically a one time 6% fee based on fully completed item costs. If you wish to become a distributor / fabricator of our products we will also entertain reduced license fees of 4% per unit for commercial license purchases of 10 or more units. This licensing opportunity opens doors for the global aviation and simulation community to partner with SimSamurai.
Adding Items to Your Cart
To add any item such as a DIY plan set to your Shopping Cart, please click on the corresponding button on the individual product page or the buttons at lower right of this page to add that single item to your Cart. Some items such as the DCP/DK1/DK2 use a single button. In these cases simply add a note at checkout to confirm which exact single item you are purchasing. Press
the Continue Shopping button while on the Cart Checkout page to get
back to the website (this page) and then purchase other items via the
other buttons. If needed you can easily remove items or delete all
items while in the cart.
If you are interested in purchasing a fabricated kit cockpit (either Bare-Bones or RTA kit or Pro-Line kit) please contact us via simsamurai@gmail.com to discuss your goals and needs.
Payment and Checkout
Our cart requires that you pay via PayPal. You can now pay through PayPal with a credit card even if you do not have a PayPal account. If you do not want to use PayPal, please see the Purchase Details page for other payment options.
NOTE – Before adding things to your Cart we also recommend first checking out the SPECIALS page to see if you qualify for any current discounts or would like to increase your order to gain a discount. For example; if you purchase the UGTAFS and any DIY Blueprint pack you will receive the GT-1000 for free (and therefore DO NOT need to select the GT-1000 button when checking out). We will already know you ordered two or more items. Also know that if you are purchasing a lot of items to take advantage of many bundled discounts we may just need to send you a PayPal payment invoice instead simply because we do not want to have cart features that are overly confusing.
Print and Ship Option for DIY Plans
For customers ordering the additional Print and Ship option for applicable DIY Cockpit Plan Sets, the fee is $20 for world-wide shipping. The Print and Ship fee is a flat rate and applies for both USA and Foreign customers alike. USA orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail (United States Postal Service). Foreign mail (non USA) will arrive via your domestic postal service via USPS. All DIY Blueprint sets are printed on large format 18″ x 22″ architectural paper and are mailed in a 10″ x 13″ envelope. Other digital items such as the UGTAFS and DIY cockpit Builder Manuals and Project Photo Links are emailed to you.
NOTE – Primary emailed items are mainly things such as the DIY Digital Cockpit Plan Sets, the Instrument Panel Design Files, the UGTAFS, In-Flight Bibles, Dual Yokes plans and GT-1000.
Order Processing Time
Please give us at least 24 hours to process your email order before sending any email inquiry! Typically we always try to process email orders within 12 hours. If it’s the weekend or we are really busy it may take up to 36 and rarely 48 hours to process an order. With the digital files we still need to add our security watermarks. Once done, we will email you the items.
Once again, if you would like to purchase any item NOT listed on this page such as any actual kit cockpit shell – (BareBones or RTA Kit) please send a purchase request email to orders@simsamurai.com or simsamurai@gmail.com. Depending on the cockpit model we can provide you with a sales brochure and or a preliminary sales contract. We require that purchases over $750 USD requires a more formal sales contract to protect you the customer and guarantee your order.
